Like everyone we loved hearing your tales, yet you were always interested in other people. A charming gentleman with a strong sense of family, shared by Ana, Robert and Sachs, to whom we send our love

Dear nonno,
I remember the first time I met you and Ana in Amsterdam all of those years ago. I had heard so much about you from Sacha and couldn't wait to meet you both. You were both so kind to me, and welcomed me with open arms into your family. I used to love listening to your stories - you had led such a rich and interesting life - and you were so humble, funny and charming when recounting your fabulous stories. They never ceased to impress me - how you had served the queen on numerous occasions, how Princess Di called you Albert, the gatherings of Frank Sinatra and friends in the restaurants you managed....so many stories worthy of their own book. We regret so much that we haven't got them on tape to show the grandchildren, but we will remember them and pass them down to the next generations of Albericis. You were such a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. You should be so proud of what you achieved in your life, especially bringing up two lovely boys who have so much of your kindness, sense of humour and charm.
We will miss you so much, nonno.
My love now and for always,
Ruth
